PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy, without the fine-print fog.

Effective date: to be confirmed before release. This policy describes the current WakeKick v1 architecture.

What WakeKick stores

WakeKick stores alarm configurations, onboarding preferences, challenge completion records and streak information locally on your iPhone. The first version does not require an account or a WakeKick backend.

Camera and movement verification

WakeKick uses the front camera and Apple Vision APIs to verify physical movement on your device. Camera frames, photos and videos are not saved, uploaded or shared.

Alarm and camera permissions

Alarm access is used to schedule and present alarms. Camera access is used only while a camera-based challenge is active. You can revoke either permission in iPhone Settings.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. WakeKick receives transaction and entitlement status needed to unlock premium access; it does not receive your payment-card details.

Analytics

The current version does not send camera content to analytics. If privacy-preserving product analytics are added before launch, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated first.

Deleting local data

You can remove alarms, history and onboarding data from WakeKick Settings. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored data. This does not cancel an App Store subscription.
